About

Canadian Book Publishing Company

Welcom to JJ Publisher

My name is Zia Syed but as a pen name I use JJ Shaw, born and raised in Faisalabad, Pakistan. From school to college, I studied at Faisalabad and completed my BSc degree from Govt College. Faisalabad. In 1984, I took admission at Punjab University, Lahore, for MSc Statistics.

From my college life, I started to write articles on socio-economic issues of the country. This was the beginning of my writing carrier. Back home, people were not keen or interested to read books and articles except related to religious or political books. My thinking was different from others, and I realized that the middle or lower-middle-class cannot solve their family problems and have a happy life without economic prosperity.

All the time, this thinking bothered me with different ideas. Due to primitive society and people’s lifestyles, my writing could not help them or change their lives. In 1987, I said goodbye to the country and came to Canada. I started my education again and took admission in 1992 at DVrey University for my business operation management degree. I completed my degree in 1996. Since I finished my degree, I started my own financial consultant business in Toronto. My business is running well, but I started to look for  other ways of increasing my income as I increase in my age. Book publishing business had always been in my mind since my college life. Finally, in 2020 I jumped into this business and started exploring how to become a good and successful book publisher. For this journey, I needed a good mentor who taught me ins and outs of this business. After a couple of weeks of research on Google, I found an enthusiastic and dedicated team of AIA. I registered with them and became a member of the AIA (Audiobook Income Academy) team. I started learning the publishing business through their online lessons. It took me more than six months to understand the detail of this business. Many times during this Audio book learning process, I was dishearten and thought about letting it go. But my sixth sense always encouraged me, and I encouraged myself saying

This is your future; keep it up.

With the great help of my mentor and other friends, I completed my first batch of four books on different topics, and these books are in the process of being published.

I have a goal that I will add 20 books to my publishing library by the end of this year. This was a short journey of my life.
